Gday Guys
sissor door kits for preludes , 92 - 96 and 97 - 01. Many people have asked me to get them for 88 - 92 preludes.

Does any one know if the mount holes are the same on these preludes? or similar? or if any other honda has the same or similar mount hole displacements on the doors and chassis?

Please help!!

thanks

I said before that the 88-91 Accord is a direct bolt on to a 3rd gen, but that got deleted. I know I'm not a trader but i'm just saying that this kit works for the 3rd gen. If you don't believe me then here are the pics of one of the member's cars from Preludepower.com

And this guy is the one who helped find out which kits worked on the 3rd gen.

^^ Yep and alot of time to fit, align properly and find the right kind of shocks to support the doors coz these doors are pretty heavy.

universal kits are alot, kits made for the specific car are much cheaper and better

i wonder if it is practical.... is it easy to get in and out?

^^ It shouldn't be that hard. I'm used to it since my mate has a Toyota Sera with the gullwing doors. If anything the hardest part for some people is if they are too weak to pull the doors down due to the shocks. It's a good work out for you arm though, lol.

Ok so the 98-2002 Accord kit fits and the bolt holes line up but there is some modding that is needed to be done though.
You have to cut part of the frame behind the fender to make room for them, it takes hours for each side to cut and align the doors correctly. You also have to cut the fender a bit on that inner lip to make room for the swing.
