Actually picked it up last week but only got around to posting about it now because I have been too busy taking pics and driving her to come here ;) I love it, I can't believe going up from a standard to luxury Euro would make that much difference, but it has! For starters the black leather seats are really classy, sunroof and the fogs plus the new 17 inch alloys all make a big difference in my books in both looks and feel.
And the milano red, all I can say is WOW! It does attract alot more attention than my previous ABP did, must be coz it is a brighter color, get alot of compliments! Here are some snaps or you can visit my cardomain page shown in my sig!

Ran outa budget :D Still the dude at the dealership reckons he will give the sports kit to us at cost price, around 4 grand... might look at that later, still looks nice without it and the new tyres are awesome, Brigestone Potenza's

Nice car dude.. I too think Red is the best color on Euro. Leather looks very very sweet. I don't mind the spoiler at all on Euro, it should make your parking easier:)

Congrats on the buy, didn't realise red looked so nice.
Regarding the bodykit, I got quoted 2200 for boot spoiler, rear skirt, side skirts and front lip. This is for AM parts though which Honda would have gotten to spray and fit. OEM is pretty expensive and according to the sales guy, the AM looked just as good.
I've seen an AM kit without boot spoiler sell for around $700 without painting and fitting. This could well be different from the AM kit Honda is selling though.
Gotta love those heated seats! :D

Typical of dealers. One Honda dealer in Brisbane also tried to rip me off by offering to sell accessories at cost price instead of giving me further discount on the car. He then proceeded to pull out a price list of accessories claiming that the prices are cost price. Obviously, I knew it's a load of horse crap because it definitely said RRP on the sheet. I told him that that's not their cost price and no business would show a list of their cost price to their customers, but he insisted that it is the cost price. Of course, they didn't get my business and I went elsewhere.
Shame that you gave your hard earned cash to lying SOBs.

When I bought my euro I just negotiated as a full price inclusive of the extras rather than break it down.
I never asked them what the bodykit and tint was worth. I just said give me your best price with bodykit and tint and negotiated that way.
I was happy with the end result.

There will be another milano red one on the road next week too.
Picking up mine soon. Essendon area.
I might be the only person ever to trade in a euro manual luxury for a euro auto luxury.

Sorry to be off topic a bit.
What makes you want to change from manual to auto? Don't you like the 6 speed box in Euro?
I guess with the new colour and much more relaxed left leg and left hand, the extra dollars you paid are worthwhile.

I sold my manual luxury model because of the drive by wire throttle. Others don't find it an issue but I simply couldn't drive it smoothly in the bumper to bumper traffic I live in each day. I was sure the creaking clutch was going to wear out fast because I was tending to use it a lot to smooth out the drive.
If Honda themselves think it's not an issue then there was no hope of getting it fixed either.
But since that was the only problem I had with the car, it seemed smart to get another Euro and live with the reduction in acceleration. Can't comment on delivery times for a new car order. If you don't mind taking any colour you can usually get one within a week if you use a broker. Ordering one might still take 6 weeks like it used to if you walk into a dealer.
Back on topic, the Milano Red and the new wheels look good. I am looking forward to taking it up from the Westgate freeway to the Bolte bridge and seeing where the steering lightens up and it loses poise. The '04 Euro starts to lose poise at 90Km/h on that 270' curve. (not looking for top speed, just feel) The '05 and the new wheels and suspension changes should improve it.

6 weeks delivery time is a total BS and unacceptable in my books anyway.
Mine took just over a week and it came straight off the boat.
August 2004 build and I got it in September.

$2200 is damn good! Is the kit as good as OEM? Just for the sideskirts and the underlip they reckon will cost 4 grand, does this seem normal? I guess they are talking front and rear underspoilers? Anyone know?
I can't do without my heated seats, been damn cold here in Melbourne, especially at night! Warms up the tush in no time :D

I tried to do that but the assured me it would put the price of the Euro over 50K which they said would mean extra tax and some other BS, is there a 50K and over cost situation that anyone knows about?

Nah here to keep red Euro owners company :D Haven't seen too many around yet, only 2 or 3, but considering how good they look I am surprised.
One other thing I noticed about the red compared to my previous Arctic Blue Euro, it never looks really dirty, especially from a distance! You only notice it needs a clean when you get right up close, means I don't have to wash it every 3 days now :) Getting alot of compliments on her now too! Yeah mine is female ;)

Let me know how it goes, I know you will love it! Hey I know why you are getting a red one, you live in Essendon, so that means you barrack for the Bombers in the footy right? Red Euro with the black interior... seems rather fishy ;)
I got mine from Essendon Honda, go in and ask for Will, I have bought 3 cars through him so he should know me or my missus names. My missus name is Christina, just mention either of our names and he should look after you :)

There's a luxury car tax (25%) on car sales (including accessories) over a certain value -- it used to be about $52000 but it's been lifted to $57000.

It only took me like a week for mine, and that included them putting the spoiler on and Doing the Ming Tints.

When we were searching for our euro we got the price down to around abt 45500-46000 for an 05 euro Luxury, in auto with full bodykit except spoiler, weather shields and floor mats, no tints though. That was drive away price as well.

That is probably what he was talking about, as it was it was under 50K without the kit and just with the spoiler and tints thrown in.

That is pretty good, you would have to throw the tints in though, can't live without tints :D Considering I was quoted 4 grand for the kit, you managed to pretty much get the kit for free, which dealer was that through?

They told me the aftermarket was just as good as the OEM. And in the end, it's still going to be factory fitted so that's all that matters to the insurance company. The OEM one is a ripoff. I wouldn't pay around 4 grand for a lip kit, and some of the other guys here have purchased the Mugen kit which looks pretty good! But I don't think the missus would be happy if I got it... :D
Gotta love those heated seats!
Edit: Add: No way I would pay 50k for the Euro! Even with every accessory added, it shouldn't cost that much.
