engine light spedo & seat

got my car back from getting the engine mounts, rear control arms, RH drive shaft done etc, and now my spedo only works when it wants to, It was 10ks out to begin with, but still, also the engine warning light came on twice while driving??? and my seat appears to be bending back and only clicking into place in on spot, damn uncomfortable?? I was like WTF??? this wasn't happening before hand. (he said the seat was broken when he got into it, I think I might have broken it the other night with my gfreind now come to think of it....) Any ideas on how to fix any of these probs???

i think with your seats the roller bearings have come out of one of the rails have a look on your floor to try and find em cos they keep yur seat from going crazy

sounds like you need to replace an item called a transducer (spelling)
it converts the twisting speedo cable into electrical signals.
go to Auto electrician

ive have had problems with a similar thing (jumpy spedos) but found out you need to make sure the conections from the spedo cable into the spedo are tight and where they are suposed to be....but know they are bastards to get your hand in behind! can use a mirror too might help

OMFG I thought Id get some quotes on a set of recaros from a type R from the wreckers and I got quoted over 2K, He said that when ever someone steals these from a type r and a few other little things, they basically write the car off cause they cost over 7K from honda new.

hahaharrrr, now way I spent 10K, I WISH i spent 10k on the car LOL, nah cost me $950 all up, car is heaps more responsive with the mounts, but it was just like U get one thing fixed and then everything else goes wrong :(

hehehe, well I had to break the car in, and I did....... Literally :D Recaros would be alot more durable me thinks, after all they are racing seats

LOL, no not really, the bedroom would have cause me alot less stress, & my wallet would be alot lighter, oh well its an excuse to spend more money on my car and not her
