Just wanting to know how I would perform a general service on my car, eg whats involved, what to buy and how to do it.

what to buy.. would be in your service manual. if you dont have one.. try ringing a honda dealer to order antoher, or borrow someones. whats involved? it should say in the manual. how to replace filters, oils, spark plugs. it's in my accord's manual.

if you havent done it before, i reckon get someone who knows what they are doing, ask them questions while they are doing it, learn, then attempt on your second service.
