Hullo boys n gurls,
just a quick question, my tweeter wires are really short and i dont want to have to go to all the trouble of mounting my crossover inside my door (theyre currently mounted behind my dash, long story. Anyway, question is, if i were to just solder more wire onto the ends of the tweeter wires, there'll be no repuccusions right? providing its good wire of similar guage?

Yeah should be fine. And wrap it up with electrical tape.

My crossovers aren't in the doors either

Yep. Should be fine. Perhaps a slightly larger (one size maybe) gauge

Will be fine with anything. Just solder her up wrap them in tape so they don't short and away you go.

Just so you know... most ppl will never mount crossovers in the doors due to them being less immune from the weather. Dash is a much safer option. :)

Don't tape, use heat shrink to cover the soldered connection.
