hmm got a pic of your engine bay? not sure about the euro, but in my car, i just disconnected the hose coming from the rocker cover, connected that to the catch can and connected up the return hose.

catch cans arent intended for the valve cover venting. it goes between the PCV valve (which vents the crankcase) and the intake manifold.

looks like the PCV valve is the one connected to your intake just above the red injen sticker in the last shot.
not 100% but looks like very similar setup to d series (i know it sounds stupid comparing similarities between d's and k's but this is a pretty universal part)
if in doubt ask a mechanic, or can anyone else here confirm?

Yeah i would agree with that ... take the hose off where the intake connects to the rocket cover, then close the intake hole so no access air comes out, then connect the catch can hoses which is provided to the rocket cover, then connect it to the catch can itself

like i said before, its NOT for the rocker cover.
its for the PCV valve which is for venting the crankcase.
and in this case the PCV valve appears to be the one being connected to the intake part which is in line with the red injen sticker in the last pic

You guy's got it wrong. The tsx forums have lots of guides on installing catch cans. Try tsx.acurazine.com.

Here's the location where the catch can connects to:
http://home.comcast.net/~tjy102/TSX/Oil_CatchFilter00.JPG
The blue thing on the bottom left is the catch can (self-made). If you follow the tubing, outlet is just near the alternator, while the inlet is actually under the intake cover (which I think you guys call the rocker cover? To me the rocker cover is the part behind, where the engine oil cap is).

You can't close the intake hole on the K24 engine. You need to maintain vacuum in the PCV system or the engine throws a code. Put the catch can between the inlet and outlet of the PCV system. And if you just put the outlet to the catch can, does that mean that you are going to vent it into the engine bay? If the cops catch you doing that, it's a defect.

aaronng, do u have any exp. in putting together the oil catch can in a euro?

ah well its pretty much in the same place as on a D series(relative to the engine). yeah, thats the PCV valve. catch can has to go between that and the intake manifold.
theres a common misunderstanding that it goes between the rocker cover (yes, where oil cap is. otherwise called camcover) and the intake.

I haven't installed one myself. From what I've learnt, you detach the existing tubing (and watch for the oil drip), replace it with 2 new pieces of tubing with the oil catch can in between them. You can cut your existing tubing, but I think it's better to keep the original in case you want to put it back to stock.

Take a look at this picture,

http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk172/siwood22/IMG_2045.jpg

Notice the Zinc (golden) fitting to the right next to the broken stud i had to remove , Thats your'e PCV outlet.

Located directly above the Alternator.

The hose will easily pull straight out of it. Although you do NOT have to remove it to install the can.
Merely find that hose.

It will connect to one of the Solid Black Steel lines up to the right of the valve cover.
(i dont' have an exact pic on laptop of it)

All you have to do is, plumb the catch can in that line, between those two points.

Leave the hose on the intake tube alone. It has nothing to do with PCV

During some afternoon playing, i managed to squish a can here:

Hope this helps

hi thanks for your help. i notice in your last pic u didnt connect the other bit of the can to a hose? i thought youre suppose to connect it to an intake manifold?

I didn't end up using the catch can, so I never bothered with the plumbing. That pic was purely for a refference.

anyone? just want to clarify so you take the pcv hose of and you run the catch can hose from the pcv to the catch can and to that intake manifold under the "ivtec" cover that shaped like "L" is that right?

and also ive got the 15mm hose and i shouldve get the 9mm one but its too late now any ideas how i can overcome this issue?

cheers
