go a B18C7 swap. the extra torque and power will come in handy round the circuit.
definately get a half cut as it'll save a lot of greif trying to track down parts.
as for $$. you can get 96 spec cuts for ~$4-5k if you are prepared to do a little searching. then whatever for labour. around the $1-1.5k ballpark i guess

|N|: 7k installed is what I was quoted at GPC. I'm not 100% sure but lets just put it at $7500 to be safe.
That included everything you would need - brakes, engineers certificate, exhaust, all fluids etc! It's basically drive in and drive away with 10,000/6 months warranty.
bubblecivic: b16 or b18? oz or jdm?

Hi S3ph, it was for the B18.
The full package for the B16 was around $5800 as far as I can remember.
I remembered the B16A was JDM but I'm not exactly sure on the B18.

all your need is engine/box/loom/ecu. mounts. shift linkage and drive shafts.
remember to do a full service on the engine while its out of the car. makes it a whole lot easier

just so u know its pretty hard to source b16a/b18c motor these days..
i've help my mate source b16a.. took 3 months!
helping another mate.. its been 2 months!
definately get a front cut!.. sometimes u get extras (brakes, suspension, cluster, short shifter, panels) most places wont give u these but..
dropping the motor in is easy.. i aint no mechanic and i helped with 2 swaps.. its suprisingly easy!!
ps. ur sticker should be here soon!
i agree he takes his time:thumbsup:
