Honda has delivered an all-new completely re-engineered Odyssey minivan for 2005: a clean-sheet design that improves upon every single one of the Odyssey’s existing strengths through enhancements in styling, premium features, advanced technology and driving performance – built on the foundation of Honda quality, safety and environmental leadership. For the 2006 model year, the Odyssey adds:


3.5-liter VTEC V-6 engine on LX and EX (244 horsepower* @ 5750 rpm and 240 lb-ft.* of torque @ 5000 rpm)
3.5-liter i-VTEC V-6 engine on EX-L and Touring (244 horsepower* @ 5750 rpm and 240 lb-ft*. of torque @ 4500 rpm)
Touring model now available with DVD Entertainment System, previously available only in combination with a navigation system
XM™ Satellite Radio added as standard equipment on all Touring models, previously available only in combination with a navigation system
Leather trimmed steering wheel and shift knob added to all EX-L models.
Tether anchors added to 3rd row outboard seats

I agree.
I too hope that doesn't come here, not that I'll be buying the current model, but I'd hate to get myself confused with seeing that USDM version and a Kia on the roads here while I'm cruising :p

yuk. I agree about the Kia bit. The V6 is good though. Should have been an option for the current Odyssey

I think that's styled by Honda US. We get our JDM odyssey goodness. Now all we need is a different engine.

There's something about the US and front grills. All cars in US, no matter what class has a huge grill. And when i was in Florida, there were heaps of the exact same model of cars. Oh and Mitsubishi Eclipse's engine sounds like a Daihatsu Terio's, I'm serious!

i think the americans like that type of styling. In your face with big features/ high visual impact etc. To me it's just damn ugly and looks cheap. Different strokes for different fokes i guess.

the AU and the JDM ODyssey never got to the US

Honda Us or ACURA makes there own Odyssey for the US market

using same engine and chassisc though
