Coloured Dome Lights

Looking to get blue/red Dome lights fitted in.
Not sure if they're called dome lights, its the lights that turn on when your door is open.
Well, I'm looking to change the bulb to a blue one or a red one. Just to suit my interior lighting.

I've also found that there is a replaceable circuit board which causes the light to fade when your door is closed, instead of an instant turn off.

ebay dude...just look for wedge bulbs..LED. Or you can get little silicon sleeves for like 2 bucks at auto shop that go over original bulb and change colour.

Yeh searched on eBay, found many LED ones, didnt know whether they would be strong enough to light up the inside.

How good are the LED ones?
They have 6 or so LED's in one bulb?

Wedge bulb on eBay dont look anywhere near like the bulbs in the car or dome light?

saw the bulbs your looking for in blue and orange at autobarn when i was grabbing headlights, they also sell the colour sleeves, but they are rip off

It the sleeves are a rip off, may as well get a bulb, and leave the original one for backup.

on my Teg they are 12v 5 w bulbs
i had some blue ones before they looked cool but i made the mistake of getting 10w ones and it blue fuses so i ditched them

I dont think the legal side of things really would effect it
UNLESS you go around driving with your interior lights on or your doors open

The website does not say if it stocks the blue 't8x28' (the 3rd one)It only has blue T10 and T10x31.
I think the T8x28 is the one for my civic.
The website reliable? You've purchased from it have you?
Will the T10x31 fit in my civic also?

Give Autojoy a visit in Parramatta. As for changing these globes, you will have difficulties finding stuff at night if you do decide to go blue unless it's much more bright then the stock one.

it is interesting....don't know there are some products like this.....
but it seems a bit hard to make it up.....lol?

Went over to Autojoy today, and they dont stock blue ones.
Autobarn ran out of stock, or they just dont sell them also.

where can i get em?
Saw LED ones from Autobarn, they any better?
