i wanna put a d16y1 or a d16y8 on m y d16y4, i searched up and found out that it makes my y4 go from a 88kw to a good 93kw for the y8 and 96 for the y1, it also had something bout changing the cams, pistons etc. do i have to change them from the vtec engine that im getting the vtec from over to the y4? plus where could i find someone who could do this in bris and how much $$$ would this all cost

plus include 2.25 exhaust, header, CAI , is there nething else i would need?

Are you think about getting the y1 or y8 head and putting it on your y4 block or a whole engine swap?

just the head, most likely the y1 cause a friend crashed his vti so prob go find his car from the wrecker and grab his head

do a search for a 'mini me' swap on the net man, theres lotsa info on it and even honda-tuning magazine did it in a couple of issues :thumbsup:

do a search mate...Jase EK was asking the same questoin the other week about the mini me conversion...there are heaps of wreckers in brisbane, you just need to call around. not sure on the price to install. but the price of CAI, header and exhaust all depends on what you buy mate. could go cheap or expensive depending on branding and if you wanted to DIY these mods or have others do it for you.
