ill assume you mean civics -

vtir has a DOHC b16a2 with 118kw and the vti is a SOHC with 96kw apparently.

Average stock readouts for "At the wheels" kw's are around 85kw for the b16a2 , and around 70kw for the vti.

Hi,

I'm going to let you search a little bit more as the answer it out there (just the sticky itself has the fly wheel power outputs to give you an idea).

Vti = SOHC VTEC
Vti-R = DOHC VTEC

With SOHC-VTEC being more for economny. Please read the stickies in this forum and the technical forum to get a better understanding of the VTEC system and post any questions you have in there.
