i drive a civic coupe 1998, haa i reversed and knocked my boooooooooot... got a dent on the edge of the boot, with a cracked spoiler... the dent about half a fist size.

went to get a qoute from some body repair shop near my place, the guy says it's gonna cost me $1300++!!!... it's only a small dent but i'm must see to it that i get it fixed, heart pain...

so i checked with the scrap yards maybe they have an EJ8 boot lid, but no firm reply. Don't really care about the spoiler cos can do without one..

I'm in brisbane, you guys got any recommendations on where and how to go about fixing it?

I'm sure sourcing a new bootlid and repsraying it to match your car would cost way less then $1300. However coupes are quite rare IMO so you might have some trouble sourcing a bootlid.

Otherwise shop around for quotes, I'm definite you can do it for cheaper then that!

ur knocked boot can be fixed easily if theres no paint required. Does it need paint? or can it be popped back out without painting it?

i had 2 dents on the right rear quater panel of my car got em both popped out for $200.

Also depends on where on the boot the dints are. If they are on a crease then they may be more difficult to remove but if they are on a flat surface then you might be able to get around with a paintless dent remover (like others have said depends if it needs paint or not)?

Yeah $1300 is too much to pay even if it's right on the curve. My case is different but I had my boot lid resprayed and the original spoiler holes filled for about $200.
