Wanted to ask this question and this topic is along simmilar lines, but what about a Spoon 4-2-1 Civic header into a DC2 ITR? its the same isnt it as the Spoon 4-2-1 but for ITR? would it be good?

spoon civic b16 header won't fit on itr

Why is that? ....it would fit up to the block (?) ....but i guess it wont bolt up to the cat?

but you can just weld the cat onto the header, i mean if your not putting a cat in then you cant put the 2-1 peice in but if your going to put a cat in then it dosent matter really does it?

Adam "CTR" used headders off an ITR and fitted straight onto his B16A2.. they hand down about 0.5" lower than B18C but is negligible difference.

Why don't you just tell us which C/ITR or give us a link if you don't know? Saves us from rummaging through all the FS posts *just* to help YOU out.

ITR extractors will fit on a b16a, but the B18 block is about 12mm taller (from memory). so depending on how much clearance you have at the bottom of the extractors, they might actually fit. (Civic Extractors on ITR that is)

the only problem is the flange to the cat, its in different positions on the ITR and EK civic. so you'll want to rotate the flange on the cat. don't rotate the flange on the extractors! or alternatively, dont weld it directly onto the cat! you need to retain the stock spring loaded bolts so the exhaust can flex under load, or you can potentially cause more problems down the line!

one popular upgrade is to fit the JDM ITR 4-1 header.

Sorry about the original post, cos i'm not sure about the answer for that!
