Vibration from Engine

When I try to put the power down
I can feel the engine have these vibrations

could this mean I need to replace the engine mounts? :confused: or is there another problem.

when you say power down? do u mean full throttle? if so.. get your mounts checked, and all other connections that secure your engine.

yeah just under heavy acceleration

check your inner c.v joints, your wheel bearings and all your engine mounts.

hmm, u drive s2000 dont you? in that case, the driveshaft bit wont apply to you.

This on my old EG Civic
underload after 3000rpm it vibrates really bad to around 4000rpm and gets abit less
I don't know where the vibrations are from.
I have check the car bearing, CV join and engine mount. all seems good.

I might as my friend at Honda to check it out.

I been told that is an electrical problem
as previous my car was running good.
I am going to replace the 02 Sensor as I been having problems with it
recently since I got my car back from the work shop.

also try checking the mounts for your exhaust

I just took the exhaust manifold cover to undo the O2 sensor
there is a crack right in the middle.
turn the car on and put some water on it......not good.

can a B16A manifold fit a D16A engine?

man get an engine damper kit there ment to reduce friction from the engine at all rpm levels (aparently)

but $400 for a damper .....

anyway I fix the exhaust manifold, had a broken stud too.
now there is no engine light and less vibration from there engine.
There is still abit but I suspect is from the wheels.

I can feel there is a small vibration coming from the left front when underload still
was not as bad as before but I can still feel it.

mate u checked ur extractors right? the 3 bolts that connects from halfway maybe one of them are loose from scrubing at maccas carpark

I pay $XX to install the extractors
doesn't seem to be any leaks, but the car still vibrates from the left.

All my mechanic think is the tyres which I don't think is the problem, as the car drive fine. Just underload it vibrates.

maybe u just need to get your tyres balanced and rotated.

Change both left and righ hand with new drive shaft (CV).
both shaft inner CV was damage from wear and tear.
