b16a head on eg/ek

if u have a eg or ek, and its not dohc, or vtec equipped, is it possible to bolt on a b16a head to get dohc vtec?

or atleast the dohc?

or does this require full transplant?

basically wants to know if this is a good way to get power out of a eg or ek sedan....

You should be able to interchange the DOHC and SOHC head between D series engine. Not worthwhile tho.

You can't put a B series DOHC head on a D series block.
