quick question for ES sedan owners - i have a march 05 gli sedan and have noticed oil seeping out of the engine near the bottom of the timing belt cover and block. is this a common problem with the D17 or just my car?

thought i'd ask here before speaking with honda service.

It could be a camshaft seal but is hard to say exactly. Got a pic?

it would be under warranty wouldn't it?

March '05 model. It's under warranty (unless you've done something to void the warranty), so just take it back to the dealer and get it fixed. Shouldn't cost you anything...

phone and book first:) keep those service boys happy:) . But yeah, Im not a mechanic, some people on here are, my instinct would be to drop it off at Honda one morning and let them handle it for warrenty.

take it to honda. if its leaking oil into the timing belt case, id demand a new belt just for the sake of caution.
