Anyone knows what is an Injector Balast?
From what i've known, it can maximise the capacity of injectors...for example, from 290cc to 330cc....something like that...

lets say if you have an ECU (Motec, Autronic), and having a 550cc injector, even the ECU itself can't maximise the injectors without using the injector balast...am i rite?

i'm not sure....can someone tell me?..

thanx...

An injector balast is nothing more than a balast resistor.
It is used with injectors of low impedance on cars with ECUs unable to drive them without overheating as the injectors earth via the ECU.
It has nothing to do with injector flow rates etc.
It is a common thing on Nissan cars.
