Its ok, I have found out that it will lower the Jazz by 40-50mm so the car should still be of min legal ride height in Victoria. Wife should be pleased.

If that is true then I'm happy. Anything between 30mm-40mm lower will be ok with me. I'm getting the springs for the same price.

BTW, has anyone fitted them themselves before? Any special tools required other than a spring compressor?

How are the rear springs held in place? They're not a coil over strut design.

u dun need spring compressor to change from oem to aftermarket spring cos aftermarket spring generally is shorter... only when change back from aftermarket to oem one the u need to compress the oem one cos they are long....

I had a look at the rear today, how the hell do you get the spring out? Do you remove the bottom shock absorber bolts then jack the car up?

jack up the car, take off both wheels, undo both bottom shock absorber bolts, get someone to step on the brake drum and pull out the spring.....

Thanks Zimp13. And to top of the front struts just twist off? They don't have 3 bolts like other Hondas.

thats ok.... u toking the rear strut? u dun have to undo the top bolts of the rear strut... if u toking the front ones, yes they only come with one bolt each side instead of 3 like most of hondas... :)
im interested, where can i purchase this spring set? can the person who's selling it kindly PM me please. thanks.

What's the effect of installing the coils? Does it help to smoothen out the rather harsh ride of the stock springs?
This is one of my major complaint on the otherwise wonderful Jazz - its ride just jolt your bones apart at certain times, it is very uncomfortable, even at low speed of say below 60 kph in the city.
