Hi all. I have a 95 VtiR integra and there is squeking noises coming from around the pulleys of the engine. I've put some wd-40 on it then it stops but comes back after a while. Does anyon know the problem? Thanks... :?:

I used to have the same problem when my timing belt was worn. It could be that?

If the belts are old and worn they will squeak after awhile. EIther that or its a pulley problem.

if the belt is old, dry and cracked then yes it will be squeaking until it's replaced. wd-40 is just a temporary relief from the noise but once it dries off it will re-occur again.

only way is to replace that dried up belt with a fresh one from ur honda dealer that has nice and moist rubber :)

Could be a few other things too. like the alternator and the water pump(less likely) wd40 the belts if its still there put a screwdriver on the alternator and put the handle to your ear if u can hear the noise through the screw driver chances are its your alternator is on its way out.
