well for all of you that are interested today i had a play with my suspension set-up at the strip with a new set of wheelie bars and a full tune from Doug at Hondata I pushed my K20A powered EG civic to an 11.30 @ 190.3kmh at Meremere. pushing a 1.60 60ft and 7.1 1/8mile I beleive with launch control set-up and flat shift control turned on we will hopefully see a 10 sec pass soon..

I will keep you all updated anyway

I'm running C12 but with a stock block its probably to high octane, I might be better going back to Av-Gas which i will look into in the next month or so when work gets quieter.
I'm running a 24.5" slick I think a 26 is to big unless your making about 320-400whp, but i guess depending on gearing etc it might be worthwhile. I'm looking into going to a 25" M&H front slick.
I'm also looking into upgrading the bottom end away from the stock block but at this stage I dont have the spare $$$ to make that happen.. slicks will be a start to this season, since there 3yrs old..

yeah i'd say the 24.5 or the 25 would be spot on for you if you just have the std gear ratio's, you are 60 footing well also.. when are you going back out. would be nice to see you run a 10.:thumbsup:

nah there hasnt been any 10's N/A for FWD cars here. I hope to get back out in the next month or so and race, hopefully we might get the launch controller set-up and see some lower 60ft's.. I've run a best 60ft of 1.55 without wheelie bars.. Hopefully we might see low 1.4's with them..
