you're in melb, check out www.garage-13.com
email alex, or check out the guard roller in the tyres section

unlike a hammer etc...u attach it to ur hub and lip it out so u get it consistent.
$45 a corner..it used to be $30 :P
also does flaring etc

dont try it yourself. chances of stretching your paint and causing it to crack is high. i got quoted $100 each corner lipped, flared and painted

yeh i agree dude.
guards r expensive bits of metal that should never be touched with a hammer =/
with the roller u see how far u want it and make sure u dont start cracking the paint or anything.
btw, u can bargain him down :P

i just lipped the guards today...did it with a friend..used a hair dryer, pliers and a hammer wrapped around with a towel

used the hair dryer to heat up the guards so it's easier to bend with the pliers without cracking the paint then used the hammer wrapped around with a towel to knock the guards in.

but my tires are still touching the stupid guards

Angle grinder and cut off the inner guards...... (please do so at own risk)
I've seen it done.
