Hey guys, I know you honda boys love your Allmotor stuff, so Im coming to you for advice. Unfortunatley, due to certain cirumstances, I cant go ahead with my 1JZGTE into IS200 project :( Very unhappy about it

BUT, after being in a friends Type R, and NSX, im feeling this allmotor stuff.

What I have in mind is:
Trust cat back (already have)
Haltech E6K
Extractors
2.5" front pipe
Lightened Flywheel
Heavy Duty Clutch
Maybe open the block, and get some hi comp pistons, but this is where I need advice.

What else can I do? At the moment, my compeition is VT Commys and EL Falcons. Help me out biys (and girls!)

Stick a 2J bottom end, 1J head - go buy some cams, cam wheels, get a 6 butterfly throttle body and stick that with what you previously mentioned

Just remeber, it costs a hell of a lot to get a NA engine pumpig hard

By the way, you car looks damn dine in those pics....

there is a bloke on performance forums with some NA 2JZGE, if memory serves correctly he ended up with close to 200kw at the treads...

might be worth a look...

otherwise, i hear the beams motor is kinda fun, if a little gutless in the heavy body...

blah for that money you could boost it easily!

Remember how much power boosting ur NA Supra would've made, think about how much less it would've had going all-out on it NA ;) :D

Yeah, see you guys dont understand. The car is leased through work, so no engine conversions or Forced induction. The engine is a 1G-FE, not a 2JZGE. I have a 1JZGTE ready to bolt up here, but I cant :(

ohh fair enough... have you asked on toymods? might get more help there.

i don't know anyone that has gone to the effort of doing up an na 1g before.

Huh?! You mean to the 1G? How do you do that?

NO, 1JZGTE Head. It is the best of the heads. Use the 2JZ bottom end. This is infact known as a 1.5JZ.

Yeah, I know about all that, so basically what your saying is, Throw away the 1g? Put a 2J, with a 1J head? I dont comprehend.

What I have in mind, is use the 1J head on the 1G, but then Id loose VVTi, no?

You think a haltech would make any difference at all? I have a Haltexh E6k.

It is only VVti - not a lot of power in it - plus, you can buy 1JZ's with VVTI anyways. But yeah, 1.5JZ is what I am saying - keep the 1G for when your lease ends, take out the 1.5JZ, and stick the 1G back in.

2J bottom end is good for the extra displacement, and being NA, ther is no replacement.

I'm no toyota expert, but they don't tend to tune their car's to the brink of their existance....
