If you measure from the ground to the guard(or fender? Shit my poor english Q_Q), i consider 580mm is low enough for a DC2. But make sure the springs and shocks are good enough to handle the bump without rubbing the tyres

just get any high performance spring for your car made by brands such as whiteline, eibach tanabe etc, you shouldn't need to decide the exact drop you want just have an idea and go get the springs with similar drops, its not rocket science. Any good brand spring made specificaly for your dc2 will drop it enough to be "low and sexy" but not that low that your under car equipment will get damaged.

Although pascoe make sure you get shocks as well.

mines already dropped 2.5 @ the front n 2.75 @ rear man..lowest part of my car is 7cm from d ground...

i want another inch so 2.5 @ front 3.75 @ rear...but scared will effect ride comfort n drivability badly...

pascoe, maybe your should edit your first post and ask people exactly that... "will dropping my car to 2.5 and 3.75 effect ride comfort and drivability"

answer to your question is 'yes' with a 'depenends' on the springs and suspension set up you have as to how adversly affectd it will become. all resorts back to tires, rims, shocks, springs, etc, etc list goes on.

lol @ ali.....

but neways pascoe, just try it man, i say just go to 3.5 inches at the rear...u have ridden in my car and its a 4.25 inch drop at the rear, it aint too bad considering how low it is, and mines a daily driver :):)

and as for shocks, i got stock oem shocks and the ride is still exactly the same as it was when i first put the springs in a year ago, i even took it to wakefiled that way and i got a decent time for a first timer
so yeh u might get lucky

If your just doing it for looks.....well OK ....Go for it.
But that gotta affect the car, and not in a good way.

Mines lowered about 2in with Spoon progessive spring & OEM shocks.
But now it thrown-out the camber. Need adjustable arms....cause camber pins suck.
