ok guys, im new to the whole honda thing, i used to own a toyota supra, now i own a 96 Honda civic 4 Door, im pretty sure its a VTEC cuase thats what the guy who sold it too me said, just wondering what is a good exhauist for this inc. extractors high flow cat and muffler, its the 1.6 SOHC Vtec by the way

any ideas would be great thanks

i think just a decent set of 4-2-1 extractors will give you a better mid range... then leave it at that

sup Tim, Hope u liking the civic. If i had the dollars when i owned that car i would have gotten 4-1 headers to a 2" maybe 2 1/4" custom piping. Hi-flow cat. Muffler...... don't know, so many to choose from. I got a magna flow muffler and mine sounds sweet. But if i was u i would just keep the A'PEXi muffler on there :thumbsup:

Many people here have an Xforce Twin Loop muffler, I got mine installed on saturday and it sounds beautiful - lovely note to it not a loud fart can.

I'll be posting up a review in the coming days.

yeah mate definately liking the civic, i sent ur bro up with the money

exactly the same as mine man, same set up, same price. Yeah got the dollars, thanks dude. But yeah if u get that system it will be sweet.

Yeah, that sounds like an alright system. You really get what you pay for when it comes to exhausts.

anyways i think the civic u have is the civic vti sedan - engine is d16y5 sohc vtec-e -> economy vtec a bit more grunt with the added feature of fuel economy!

also everyone seems to be gettin one of those twin loop mufflers.. im gonna get one soon lol
