Sony head unit - switching off

check the wiring at the back of the headunit possibly?

i think it's the earth wire..

i used to get that problem

correctly wire it up

and u shouldnt have a problem

Yep most of the time it's the Earth, majority of head units have a safety that trips when they are not grounded properly.

sometimes speaker wires will affect too but they connected badly...

yup. just check the wiring all together. if the problem reoccurs, reinstall it. if not return it to where you bought it from.
