Can someone tell me where they have installed the ballasts in the engine bay for the EURO?
Best if pics can be provided. I just received my kit, and want to know how everyone else who have installed a kit has done so.
Thanks in advance!

ballasts?
I think most people with standard here if not all of them haven't bought a HID kit yet. Most people with HID are us Lux owners :)
instructions weren't helpful i'm guessing?

My suggestion... fetch someone's euro lux and look where they have put the ballasts at :D
i've had a base euro once for loaner and i opened the hood and saw the socket for headlights were quite different to other cars where they had like two boxes or something...
as lux version comes with HID, i am pretty there's a pre-setted spots for ballasts... or maybe i've been dreaming...

Powerful use of cable ties...... I thought they would at least bolt the ballast down!

Raz05 - You're a champ!! ok guess that's what i'll be attempting tomorrow. Cable ties.
Only thing different is i don't have the same dust caps as yours. Mine is just the rubber seals. and my kit aint as organised as yours.
I might also buy those rubber shrink wrap things to seal the connections properly. They say just use tape, but somehow it doesn't sit well. The heat of the car will make the glue go all funny.

Hi Vtec_Inside - have you done this? I'm not sure whether the ables are long enough to do so. I'm just a bit iffy about the bare pins that i have to stick into the old sockets.
~$450 AUD, that's cheap... what brand? and where was it made? and what's the colour temperature?(i/.e ??k)
great price!

Probably battery terminal protector to stop corrosion of the battery terminal making a bad connection.

Just installed my HIDs... With some doublesided velcro.
Anyway, is it normal for it to buzz? or have that high bzzzz noise.

u hear buzz after you turned them on? but they gone away couple seconds later?
i think its normal becoz i got that for my HID as well... i think its because the buzz is caused by the ballasts are getting in work ... correct me if i am wrong
i have the Bzzz noise on my (aftermarket kit) for ~ first few secs..then gone. normal!
