View Full Version : Fuel Warning Light (CD5)

hey guys im just wondering if there is neway to test if the fuel warning light on my 94 accord vtis?

im nt sure its workin cause i had the gauge nearly on the other side of the empty line n it still didnt come on.

i only want to run it that low then fill it to c just hw many km's i get to a tank!

You could take out the cluster and have a look at the bulb itself :)

Best way to chec how many litres you use per tank is on your next fill up:

1. Fill the tank
2. Zero the trip meter
3. when you next fill up, fill all the way to the top again.
4. Have a look at your receipt and note how much fuel you filled up
5. Have a look at your trip meter and note how many Kms you did.

You now have how much fuel you used and how many Kms you did. Simple maths will give you your L/100Kms value :)

Thanks wynode it works i just wasnt letin the metre drop enuff n all that other stuff i already knew hw to do lol thanks neway i got prolly bout 650km to a tank before the light came on and that was drivin pretty hard but nxt tym ill find out hw many litres it actually takes
