This is for all the CRX boyz and girls with Cyber kits and Mugen kits on their Gen2s.

Below is a pic of what my 'pre' fitted door pod looks like on the car, with the sideskirts on. I understand its unpainted, so it looks weird,
but does my gap seem a little too big? how are the gaps on your cars?

pls post pics similar to this one because giving a description just doesn't work. This way I can take it to the shop and show them.

Pushing the door pod closer to the left isn't much of a solution because while its nice the door won't open properly,

thanks

Mike

mine looked basically the same... maybe a lil more to the left, but pretty much that.

if you have it too far to the left then it will rub, and the right side will look wrong.

focus on having the right aligned and the left should be just enough space.

once its painted also it wont be as noticable.

Definetly wont be as noticable once painted, Ive come accros this a few times, but once its painted you must be very close and a good eye to see it.

mike man chill that gap is fine btythe looks of things i got the same thing as welll. No need stress. as Mr_CREX said word for word. Focus getting it rightly aligned not too close to the left for rubbing or putting it so far apart on the right it looks wacked.

Other than that it should look sweet as....

If you want a smaller gap get it modified. Personally i would rather save and get it changed to have a better gap than that.

you cant expect jap kits to be that good a quality. fit and finish isnt exactly the 4-cyl domain after all.

where did u get your kit from Sinister??

i bought a full cyber kit from J-spec perfrom. in QLD.

Only thing that fitts right was the rear bar.
The sides didnt fit, had gaps. The door pods were short just like yours.

Call up the place u got it from and tell them to replace it for you, thats what i did.

I got the kit 3yrs ago from Steve Ruddock.

Since he's not around I can't find out what he would do.

I'll speak with the panel beater and see if we can smooth out the joint a little!

thanks for posting guys - the pic server is down atm - i'll post some pics when its back up.
