JDM Civic Vti

Hey does neone knwo the specs for a JDM Civic VTI? as in SOHC VTEC EG hatchback from japan? The one that comes stock with the EK4 style bucket seats, black interior, etc etc

My mate is selling his and he wanna know cos he totally stumped :confused: when asked for stats... fairly certain its meant to be better than 96KW

hey i own one of them its single cam 1.5 litre vtec 130hp,it makes same power as 1.6 vtec australian version

representing y0! As said already, they are a 1.5 SOHC VTEC and put out 130hp

Ive heard they respond suprisingly well to turbo setups ... great 1.5 litre A to B engine .. especially with these petrol prices these days

D15 engine.....130ps/6800rpm torque.......14.1kgm/5200rpm
D16 engine.....130ps/6600rpm torque.......14.8kgm/5200rpm

Honda just play around the output figure .....the extra 100cc displacement on the 1.6 liter SOHC VTEC engine may have more hp given the fact that they achieve the same power figure as the D15B at 200rpm less........But they decided to tune it for more torque.....

D15B have slightly higher compression ratio (9.3 vs 9.2)
