AFAIK the b18a is a different dimensioned stud pattern to the other B series blocks (b18b/c etc)...so i THINK it is not compatible.

i COULD be wrong tho ! Anyone know ?

Dont put all ur eggs in my basket lol - im just "vaugely" remembering something for a few years back. B18b/c and b16a are the same exhaust port stud dimensions - Anyone know for sure ?

nah i thnk your gettin confused with the intake manifold where the b18c2 is different to other b series

Yes it can be done but there is issues in regards to clearence of the Headers with the cross member, as far as I know the headers tend to also hang lower and you may also need to take the member off to make them fit!

Any exhaust shop should be able to help you out tho!

Thats right LO N SXC
they will bolt onto the head fine
but you will ground clearance problems
All 4 into 1 headers will hang low I just got cutsom ones made up they sit up as high as they can but it is still the lowest point of the car
you will also have to cut up your front left to right cross member and remove your middel front to back member

Not at all -for the forum database -no one has said if the port dimensions of the b18a are the same as the b18b , thus same as b16a/18c etc ?!?

A Gsi doesnt have any cross members like a LS you have alot more clearance and front room in that

2 issues you will have,
the bottom of the headers will hit the sump of a b18a,
and the lower portion where it meets the cat is shorter.

b16a headers wont fit on a b18a block as it hits the sump. Unless they are a mugen 4-1 copy headers where they are able to fitt all b series with the sacrafice of hanging lower.

4-1 copys also require you to notch and box section your lower bar.

I know because i have had all these headers and lernt by first hand experience.

im pretty sure that they fit, cause all b series engines are the same fit...
but if your wanting some dc2 vtir headers. i got some laying at home if your interested.
with the heat shield. but these should fit striaght on.

b series are not all the same fit, the b18a is the exception.

yes it id you might have to extend the wire
in an LS its only one so thats pretty easy
