Hey guys, my current setup is:

Pioneer MP3 head unit
Kenwood 6" 2 ways in the front
Pioneer 6" two ways in the back
2x12 Pioneer bullet series subs
760w Xplod amp running both subs (2 channel 2x175rms)
and finally a 222w xplod amp runnihng the rear speakers.

ok heres my questions:

i dont seem to get good sound from my subs, what amp can you suggest to bring out the best in my subs?

also when i turn it up, my back speakers crack when there is bass cos the small am only has a mid pass filetr or low pass filter, so bass is still running through them, i dont need that as i have subs ....

so any suggestions would be appreciated for a new sub amp and a new amp for my rear speakers....

preferably on the cheaper side :o....

When your location says "shire" can you let me know which one? If you're anywhere near me I'll get you to come over and I'll tune it for you.

u definately need a bigger amp for those subs man...

When u say "bullet" subs, i'm assuming u mean the gold TSW1201 competition subs? Those are 500WRMS from what i remember....try the jaycar amps. They've got a pretty good 800WRMS mono block out atm.

If u wanna go a bit cheaper, just get another 760W Xplod, so u have 1 amp for each sub. When bridged, that should b sweet.....

i think they're 350WRMS each, first tell us ur budget for the amp u wanna buy. what are you running the front speakers off? i say just buy a new amp for ur subs (something around 700rms at 2ohms since u have 2 subs and 2 voicecoils so u can run them off one amp at 2ohms) and get rid of the 2 way full range speakers and get a set of components and put them at the front and run them off that 2x175rms sony amp (put the gain reallll low).
this is a good amp for ur subs if u can afford it: http://www.schneideraudio.com.au/sc_product.php?cat=Products&proId=9
and this is a good set of components:

i dont have a real big budget, so yeah, tell me some cheap alternatives.... the front speakers are running off the deck...

well that amp is abit on the expensive side.....those components dont look like a bad price tho...

those components are good they're A+++ for sound quality. this is a good amp it says $620 but i've seen it go for $450 , its rated 400wrms at 4ohms and 600wrms at 2ohms which u can run. http://www.schneideraudio.com.au/sc_product.php?cat=Products&proId=12

You should be right with the current amp your running. Just needs some tuning :)

best recommendation, get a better amp. nothing like sony, kenwood or pioneer. go for brands who only produce amps, subs and speakers.

try and get a 4 channel amp to power your speakers too if you don't want them to crackle and distort.
