Piece of long, strong PVC pip over the wheel brase and push down or sit on it

other day had this problem, and used an old clothes line.... :D

But You can basically use any long hollow, metal pipe of some sort and put it over the wheel brace and leaver it lose :)

My question is why they get so tight. Do they get tighter as you drive or something?

Yes. But if u Jack up your car slightly ( so that the tyres still grip the ground, but so that the weight is off them) the lug nuts will be slightlty easier to turn as the weight of each corner of the car is off them..

Also try a normal wheel brace ( four way one ) with a pipe on either side for more leverage ;)
