4300 is like what u see on the euro's s2ks etc

prolly shouldn't go anything higher than 6000, higher than that and itll just be losing light, but adding more blueness.

some ppl like it more blue tho

6k will be white with a tinge of blue, which i like.

i have 4300....white with a tinge of yellow, the brightest colour though...hear bad things about HID's in rain....went for a drive last night...pissing down in melbourne....light was pretty crummy....and thats only 4300...so i wouldnt go over 5000k if you wanna see anything in the wet...

tha ratings 1000-10000k arnt brightness...rather colour...4300 being white with a tinge of yellow, 8000k being blue and 12000k being purple...

You get the most light at 4300 lumens wise...and it decreases as you go along.

Cheers

hmmz. my girlfriend has 7500k and they are like a cool blue look... they are quite bright and while driviing i feel that i have better vision compared to the standard DC5 globes. - das just opinion.. and i hav driven in the rain also..and i could see really clear... nothing wrong with them.. i am able to see clearer and more.. so yup :)

***however, if i was to get some i would probably go for 5000k-6000k***

be a white/blue look with blue tinges i think... sexiii :D
