Kicker 1X404 amps

hey fellas,
this is a desperate and last resort, but i needa kno if anyone can tell me anything bout these amps.
i cant find any info on these amps.
theres a guy sellin 2 of them for $340. do u think its worth it??
any specs would be appreciated.

Try the guys over at www.auscaraudio.com, someone there might know. If they are really old amps they probably aren't worth it at that price.

The amps themselves are quite good. They tend to have issues with their thermal shutdown circuitry (they shut down even when only warm sometimes) but they're quite a nice amp.

Like vti-2 said, they're getting quite old nowadays and to be honest I would steer clear for that price too. :(

With the heat issue you could always just install a push-pull fan setup so that they stay cool. But at that price don't buy them. Bargain them down!
