About $600 - a B20A is old skool prelude engine, B20B is the CRV block, CRVTEC, is B20b with any Bxx Vtec head - B16 ead works the best due to compression. Ask Tinky for a price estimation, he's done it.

I have that on VCD/DVD, and the thing is that the S2k is actually the faster car even though the civic finished in front. The s2k started at the back of the grid, but during the race, it was the fastest around the circuit according to the lapping times.

but yeah, 2litre VTEC still exceites :)

dyno dave - the ek in that video has basically nothing done to the b20 hybrid and it has no problems revving to 9k? i thought you said that these motors will crack under this type of load.

yes geeks the top pic is my old engine I now have the h22a in. Which I have proven tonight is the same speed as the new k20. Had a few drags with a friend and was exactamundo the same. CustomCivic was in the car he will back me up. Only got up to about 160km I reckon it was fun though

CustomCivic
27-02-2004, 09:31 AM

McChook
27-02-2004, 09:37 AM
A new K-Series in Australia is nothing to brag about mate, you should have the exact same horsepower and more torque to boot, so don't bother bragging. Except your car is overweight, making it heavier than a Type R by a MILE, and as if your brother wouldn't back you up with any race you declare. we want videos

McChook
27-02-2004, 09:43 AM
By the way, that video is awesome....
The S2000 was faster, the driver was not.

Ditto, Agreed.
What makes a h22 in a civic soo fast is the fact thats its light. Add another 200kg on the car and u mite aswell be racing a vti-r prelude, which is slower then a R anyway. But geeks civic was not only carryin the excess weight, but he was rolling on 18 chromes which i bet are heavy as fcuk. And bigger, heavier wheels does make a difference on n/a cars.
I vouch for teh h22a civic.

Yeah I reckon if I had 15's and no stereo same as the guy I dragged I would have whopped him easy cos when we started I was a bit ahead.
