hi all

is it possible to put a ZC DOHC head on my EG VTi with a D16Y1???????

if so where can i find one of these they seem really rare??????

will this increase my power by a fair bit????

The ZC's came in the si's in jap. ZC's are based on the d series engine and yes you can put the dohc head on the d16y1 block.

The zc engines put out 137bhp (not forgetting they are non-vtec). So you will be looking at a bit under that.

For the price nd effort you will go to, I really dont think it is worth the very small power gains you will get.

No point. u will gain sfa witht he DOHC non-vtec head..

what other options is there for D series engines? what heads etc?

D-series, there is nothing more then really forceing air into the motor.
u can do a N/A buildup, but its going to cost u more then doing something similar with b-series..

do some searches, there are DOHC D-series going round though.. some nice numbers but they usually are on the bottle atleast.
