are u feeling any sluggish with the rpms? if you do, it might be bad EGR value... ( maybe...)

If its since the ECU was put in.......then it migt be the ecu / needing a tune.

Well i bought it with the ECU in it, I contacted the guy I bought the car off and he said that he had it tuned not long ago, and recommended that I only tune it once a year or so, I emailed the Microtech support, so hopefully Ill get a reply .. I found out that the red light is an error this is what it reads :

ERROR LOG SCREENS
The last 2 Log screens are dedicated to the logging of errors. If one of the inputs to the MT ECU should become faulty for some reason, the RED master warning light will begin to flash and the error will be recorded in the ErrorChk screens. ErrorChk1 records the water and air temp sensors, as well as the crank angle sensor functions, Home and Ref. ErrorChk2 records MAP, RPM, TPS and DC voltage. In these screens, the function names appear across the top line of the display and the status of each of the sensors is toggled once every second or so, indicated by the words "OK" or "ERR”. An error will remain logged until the screens are reset; after repairing the fault that caused the error, press and hold the MODE button for two seconds to reset the ErrorLog screens.

if you have stock cams then its idling at the right speed, if its idling like crap and wants to stall, you IACV might not be connected

IACV or EACV is a valve that the OEM ECU uses to adjust the idle speed, on ur civic its a solenoid type of valve that works on duty ( frequency ) , dont know if your ECU can pulse it to adjust Idle.

OK thanks ECU MAN, is it fixable myself, or advisable to take it to a mechanic?
