Will 6x9's fit prety easily into the doors of a DA9 Teg? Don't mind doin some cutting. Would it be better to make up some MDF brackets to stop vibrations?

With a bit of modifications, you will be able to fit them in the doors but you may need to use custom Pods that may hang off the door, meaning they won't sit flush with your door trim.
It is possible but will be a hassle to do.

It is possible to put them in a door but you will probably have to cut not only the door trim but also the metal inner skin of the door itself as the original mounting holes won't be big enough to accept the basket and magnet structure. So to answer your question, no they won't go in easily. But why would you want to put 6x9s in a door? They would perform better in a parcel shelf and they would be a hell of a lot easier to install.. For doors, you are better off using either circle splits or coaxials, they are actually designed to work well in a door, 6x9s aren't.

cutting of ANY metal in cars is illegal, check with your local transport authority :)

Its illegal for a registered company to cut metal in the cars but if you do it yourself, its up to you isn't it.

It would be possible to mount 6x9 in your doors, but the question remains why would you want to? These speakers are not designed to be put in doors. The use of coaxials or splits would be far more appropriate. You will achieve far better sound staging if you have splits in the front and your 6x9 in the rear parcel shelf.

not the best pic
the speakers and recessed into the pannels as well cant really see this in the pic
6X9's would be a hell of a lot easier than a pair of 6"s and cheeper

i personally reckon the 6" look better especially those pioneer 1s... or a pair of alpine type X... not a fan of 6x9s. howd u get the 2 6" that space? fiberglass or u just cut holes in? its got me thinkin of a couple ideas now...

originally its a big dished armrest
lots of fiberglass and bog!
cant just cut holes in it that wouldnt go anywhere
and there is minimum clearance behind there as well
so they have to be built out

6x9's in the rear are pretty easy, make urself a new parcel tray and its even eaiser & will sound better, you can go with spacers and you prob wont have to cut holes, but they always sound better screwed into wood. Personally I would go 6.5 inch in the back and front & have ur bass comming from a sub, but the cheap way to go (my way atm) is 6x9s, hell 7x10's will fit very easily in the back if ya want, Im pretty sure u could even fit a couple of small subs in the back if you space things right, don't know how good it would sound.
