View Full Version : Integra Radio Antenna Problem

I installed a pioneer 7750 in my car which i did by my self but now the antenna isnt going up so i dont get good recepetion. i did hook up the antena jack but still nothing. Did i do somehting wrong?>>

you didn't hook up the trigger wire from the oem harness to your new head unit.
this wire turns on the antenna when you turn on the radio.
i think there should be 2 wires that are left from the original harness.
one will be illumination, and the antenna wire.
turn on the lights and then use a circuit tester to test which one the lights are and then the other should be the antenna wire.

That should be the soltuin :P beat me
in the integra its a green and yellow striped wire for the antenna you can either put a switch there to manulally open the antenna or if you head unit has it which it should then wire it into that

yup, wat the others have been saying. you have left out the trigger wire in your wiring harness.
attach the wire and that should be working in perfect order.

should be next to the accessories or permanent power wire from memory, BUT FFS test first :D
