The autos have lower spec cams than the manual ones and it makes alot less power, just something to keep in mind.

Id say it’s going to cost somewhere between 1200-1500 bucks for parts

Just off the top of my head this is what you will need

Hydro manual transmission
Drive shafts
ecu
Fluids (oil, transmission, coolant)

Id also change the timing belt and water pump because it’s been sitting around for a while

Wiring harness is not essential your standard one can be modified to work with this engine (I Think!)

If it’s a long block (trans+ lower block + head) you’re going to need intake manifold throttle body and headers as well.

Guys please feel free to add if I’ve missed something.

U'd be lucky to get everything for a 1000 i think.. I believe the LS Integra parts will work.

i woudlnt do it
i dont know if u can find the parts etc etc

good advice from someone who has done the swap himself in his own time.

CTR Coupe >> Love the new avatah !! LMFAO

And yeah I agree with Danny.. and take it from me who's done a JDM B16A swap also.

I dont recomend this 'deal'.. it will end up costing you MUCH more in labour and sourcing all the extra parts then you'll also have a sub-standard swap (in relation to Auto-spec B16A)..

After having done a swap with a 'deal' that was considerably better than yours and it was still a nightmare. Believe me: GET A FRONT-CUT if you want a hassle-free and ecconomical swap.. with a Front-Cut you get EVERYTHING including mounts, ECU, wiring harness(s), manifolds, linkages.. even some extra goodies like bigger front brakes, braces and stabilizer bars, dash and cluster etc.

yup well at the time i was going to get it done, then money became the issue, oh well kinda glad i didn't spend that money, now it can go towards mods for the dc5s lol.. i'm pretty sure mum can cope with the d16y, has a fair bit of life left in it

Its just a cute kitty :D

Also if you don't take it to GPC, find a workshop that has done Honda swaps before. Don’t pay for them to "learn" how to do it. It will cost a lot more
