Im getting new rims for my eg soon, not certain about the design im getting but i was wondering does the rim brand matter if i find two similar designs? (yes... ive done a search but found no comparisons based on brands). Are there differences in quality between brands and if so, which brand is best recommended for 16" rims?
one more thing, coz im deciding on what rims to get, whats the most poular (hence most availiable and perhaps cheapest) size tyre for 16" rims?
thanks in advance

brand don mean sh*t for all these rims under 2g, as long as it doesnt look chatty then get the cheaper one. altho some of the cheap chrome ones do peel off. i havnt had any probs but then again mine are dear.

hehe... yeah, i dont care abt the brand itself, its just that i dont know if there are brands that do better paint jobs (like mj3610 pointed out-dont peel as easy) or are perhaps more buckle proof etc. so generally rims under 2g pretty much has same paint durability?

Budget?
They are all the same shitty quality until you start paying 2k+ just for wheels.

If you’re looking for wheels that look like the expensive ones try going with Rotas. They seem to be the best made copy wheels. That said they will still crack easily like all the rest.

Heres the official website with all the copy wheels
http://www.rotawheels.com/wheels.php

I’m not sure how you would order them. I guess you would just have to keep calling tire and wheel places

stop confusing the poor guy, hey bro generally alloys are okay if they dont look like cheapass rims and u like them then buy, if you wanna buy chrome then its the same thing but just dont use all those chrome polish crap they deteriate the chrome coating. and dw about buckling or scrathcing becuase if u gutter ur rims they will scratch no matter what brand they are. go for looks dont go for brand all these rims under 3k are the same quality, but some are really bad but im sure u'll tell the diff from the rest :D

Get light weight rims with some good tyres. and a design that you like. Brand is the least important.
