I've got a 95 breeze with srs. After reading the airbag legal and safty issues from this forum, I eventually got a dc2r steering wheel on my hand. Sweet. :)
Somehow when my mate tried to fit it in, he's found out the plug from the dc2r wheel no fit to the steering column of my car and there were three wires connected to the plug from the factory srs but the dc2r has got only two. :(
I've been told that the dc2r wheel is obd2 and my car is obd1 so the plug doesn't match, which I don't really understand what's that about. So for any of you have done such job, might I ask:
Is there anyway I can fit it in with the srs enabled?
Is there any electrician in the Gold Coast be able to do that? (I've asked several electricians here and they all say they don't touch the srs.)
