comeon people stop lounging, everyone here with lowered EGs tell us ur wheel size, width and how much u've lowered it, what problems ur having along with possible solutions.
i had the same size rims and used super lows
its scrubbed a bit in the back
scrubbed heaps if u have ppl in the back
you mite wanna lip ya guards aswell, helps a bit

i have had 205x50x15's on my EG - this size is almost the exact same dimensions as your "205/40/17"s.
My car was lowered about 2 inches and only rubbed during cornering and hard bumps etc.
What offset are you running ? +38-45 seems to be a safe distance

same deal as benn - i am running same profile and yes it scrubs on semi-full lock cornering.
my car would be considered super super low... ie wheel sits on the guard - you should be ok.
