Hay all,
Im not to sure how to word this but just bare with me! :o
My Left headlight bulb jst blew, i took it off and the bulb is blue?Even tho when its on the light isnt blue it has a slight blue touch tho!
I went to auto pro and supercheap and those places and they told me its a aftermarket piece???
The blue bulb is atatched to a black socket thing which says on it BIO LIGHT HB4 9006, 12V 55W
Sorry if i dont know what im on about but just need to know where to get a hold of this piece from?
-Bought the car already with these bulbs!

the only problem wif this blue version bulk is the bulk easy to broke down...so usually the worker ask me to buy a adapter for the bulk...protect it......

The blue on the bulb doesn't always create blue light, it cancels out the yellow color making it bright white light

No warranty on Philips Bulbs, once you turn it on and works thats it. This apply to most halogen, LEDs etc. Blue Vision is not bright, should of got Diamond Vision but cost $100+ at Autobarn. 6 to 7 mth is not bad for a aftermarket halogen bulb as on avg it only operates for 200 to 300hrs.
The life and reliablity of the halogen depends on alot of things like:
Correct voltage: over or under voltage will shorten globe life
Vibration Excessive: vibration in sports suspension can often break filaments
Overheating: in small enclosures such as some fog and driving lamps
Hand prints on the halogen glass: causes a weak point on the glass
Operating Environment: Moisture inside or around the headlight.
