Just curious as to why ud want JDM? Maybe Adelaide is diff, but its alot of hassles to import I would think. Sure you'd get the extra 7kw, and the one peice headlights though, transtop I could do without though.

I think your right but I thought I would look into it anyway! Now I just have to find a good one without mods so I can do it myself! And at a good price

First of all, to get one imported I'm pretty sure you need to find a workshop that has the SEVS approval for it since its Post 1989'. I've got no clue if any workshop does it but if you do find one, lucky you!

Sorry Integra girl .. You can't import the whole car anymore. It's banned ... under the SEVS system... You cant import anything honda... except for one or two cars that i've neva heard of. You're better off doing a conversion. PM me for more info - been through this before.

If the car was locally delivered here you can not import it.

Yeah I think I get the general idea that it is all to much effort for a car! Thanks everyone for all your advice I really appreciate it! Just getting out on my own so its great to see everyone is willing to help.

the only way to bring the car into the country is to own it in japan (or where ever) for 1 year, and bring it in as a personal import. I will then be complianced with a yellow plate.

I've seen this before on a jdm s14a

Yeah I read about that. I saw one in NZ that is about $6000 for a 92 model I was thinkin of getting it owning it for a year (my relatives live there and have a spare spot in there garage). But that is just way too much effort for a car in my opinion. Plus its probably easier just to wait til I find one here...like I sai I'm not in a rush, just thinkin about it.

if your not in a rush, wait the year and then bring it over.
