There's 2 type of G512, one is G512-4 and G512-44
The G512-44 is dual 4-ohm i assume? and G512-4 is single 4-ohm
Whats the difference and which is better?

correct, g512-44 = dual 4 ohm and g512-4 = single 4 ohm
the dual 4 ohm lets you change the load impedance to match the amp.
personaly i'd get the -44

Im planning to get alpine mrd-1005 mono, is that too much power for my sub or should i get mrd-605?
Im not sure what amp to get to run the g512-44 but those 2 alpines are my choice atm

get the 1005. Its rated at 600rms@4ohm (bridged) and from memory g512-44 is about 450rms. From what i understand, the sub will handle more than its rated power, and as a general rule its better to over power than underpower. Also, if thats the amp your going to get, you can get the g512-4
