I did a search but couldnt find any pics? but if their is a thread liek this pleae head me their

Anyways, i Have an EM1 and im looking into lowering my car a lil more, atm its at 1.5"-2" still looks like a 4wd:p , and i wanna lower it enough that its either on the tip of the tyre or a few mm over.. i have 17"s atm,

i feel anything over 3" is a little unpractical for me as i always have passengers:( was thinking, 2.75" on the front and 3" at the rear.. any suggestions? and spring preference.. id like coilovers but am on a college budget hehe.. pictures of your cars will be great to give me and idea.. especially if you have 17"s

Cheers
RJ

well heres the current height of my ride

http://www.ozhonda.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=509/5076baby06-med.JPG

both front and back tires are just under the gaurd with no one in the car and not on a full tank. Its about 7cm off the ground.

this is the lowest i can go with koni adjustables and king springs

How are you guys measuing the height?

Most accurate way is from the centre of the wheel to the top of the guard.

na, not low enough man, best is so its low enought to sit on a 50cent piece standing up! :D and camber it in 100%

i dropped mine about 4" and it was way too low for the extractors so i raised it an inch. The extractors now sit 73mm off the ground (3inches almost). New pics in a couple of days. I have koni's with king super lows

The problem I've found with lowering, my mates have had this too is that the spring manufacturer (i don't care who it is, king, whiteline, lovells etc) says 2" drop and it never is. I put king lows on the back of my gen2 and it looks factory. If your serious about lowering get coil overs, I am when i get the $$$

i usually just measure from the lowest point of the car to the ground:p

you guys are nuts to slam it that low........measure it from the guards, that's the best measurement of low......you sideskirts actually extend about 1-2 inches further towards the ground from your chassis

There's low, and then there's too fcukin' low....I got mine slammed on koni adjustables and King spring super lows. Lowered about 2.5" from stock - and on 17's it's low enough to look good, yet still be practical.

This is mine ATM. (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&id=1358)

I can see some pretty low cars in this thread. I personally wouldn't go so low, probably lower it up to 2" max, as you will also need to get a camber correction kit which are expensive for a decent set.
