My lancer CE Coupe (2001) has a V6 in the front from an FTO. I have Fulcrum coilovers which are quite good BUT have no damper adjustability and obviously now the spring rates are wrong (due to weight change.
I could get new springs made up, but then I would have to also pay to revalve the shocks to suite. So at this stage my option is either stay with the fulcrums or upgrade to damper adjustable Teins with custom spring rates to suit the car.
To give you guys a price perspective this is what everything is costing: Everything in AUD:
New springs for fulcrums: $300
Revalve shocks $250
Both those prices are front only
I need pillowball topmounts which are $400
At the same time I can get Tein Super Street coilovers with custom springs rates and damper adjustable shocks for $2000.
Now, assuming I could maybe sell my old coilovers for $800-$1000?
What do people think?
