my sis accord has shocks are gone, and she needs new shocks, she got quoted 800? including installtion? is that all roughly how much would it cost to replace standard shock obsorbers?

yes, IMO thats a bargain! My shocks cost me $800 from repco not inc installation. They are monroe OEM replacement.

Wow, things are getting a bit expensive across the ditch??:confused:

About 6 months ago I was quoted $525 for 4 KYB shocks including fitting and alignment.

I also got quotes just for shocks and they were:

- Monroe $385
- KYB : $335
- Gabriel : $395

I got Front+Rear KYB replacement front and rear for $640 inc install.. For my Mazda.
They should have similar prices

mate, if ur in syd, PM Hanson (nick is "Civic Si), he'll hook u up with brand new Bilsteins for that price...

i just got mine installed today! way better than OEM.

well this is for my sis, so wants shocks a bit cheaper and does the job of stock shocks, she cried when she found out she had to pay 800, im not sure wat shocks there using for mah sis, and how much did it cost u calvo? and is there anything a bit cheaper like round the 600 mark including installatin for stock shocks?

well if i paid $750 for Bilsteins + $100 labour to get fitted, i dont see why u cant find OEM shocks or just ave shocks for a lower price...

so 100 bucks fitted? kewl.....where can my sis get stock shocks from? or better yet wats da place u got it done at?
