Got it installed 2 weeks ago and u can actually hear it sucking the air.

Car feels more responsive and it blends in with the rest in the engine bay.

simota may sound cheap
but the quality of these kits are very good !

correct me if im wrong but i thought that simota's air filters were made out of good quality paper and not cotton, which means they dont let in alot of air and arent as durable? so that's what i've been told....

looks damn good by the way :)

yeah i love the sound of the filter with the cf bonnet.... so much better... by the way, the simota pod filter kit sounds really good as well.... as for the quality of the filter i think they are ok as from wat i know they can be rewashed... afterall, can just change to another pod filter after a year... so still worth it....

Same feelings down here. I`ve been switching from Simota pod, Mugen drop in & Apexi pod but lastly, Simota still ends up in my ride, But it`s a carbon shielded one w/short ram. Acceleration & response smoother than the rest, maybe due to the CF shield( personal opinion ). Built quality is much better than the K&N IMHO, so as it`s filtration capabilities. Just my 2 cents.

i have also got a simota installed in my car with a CAI, my feelings are that it works for the money you pay. but it is not nearly as durable as K&N cos simota use a paper filter that cant be washed where as k&n use cloth. K&N also let alot more air through! thats my 2 cents!

I got mine at S$128. Price only the filter set only, where i got my own short ram to finish the installation. Yet to finish it off with a CAI tube at it`s intake tube side, then it wil be perfect. You may look at this link: http://www.simota.com/pro_in_carbon.php

just installed in an open pod using simota filters and all i can say is, two thumbs up! the response is better, and the sound is sure a whole lot louder. good thing is it maintain's the old engine noise at low revs but unleashes itself when your foot gets real heavy.
